JewishStatus

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how JewishStatus ("JewishStatus", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use jewishstatus.com and related services (the "Service").

Information we collect

SMS / text messaging & mobile information

If you choose "Text me a code" at sign-in, you provide your mobile number so we can send you a one-time verification (login) code by SMS. By submitting your number and tapping "Text me a code," you opt in and consent to receive that authentication message from JewishStatus. This is a transactional authentication program, not marketing.

Mobile information and messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information (including your phone number) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted; all other use-case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, and this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Message frequency: you receive an SMS only when you request a login code, so frequency varies based on your own sign-in activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How we use information

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. Mobile information and messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, authentication, email, and SMS delivery vendors), solely to perform services on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.

Data retention & security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations, and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it.

Your choices

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
