I made a serious mistake. 24 hours earlier, Yoel wasn't allowed to board the flight with my wife and daughters, so he stayed behind with me. I was already planning to return the following day anyway, because I still had a few meetings in Israel. I tried to get him on the same flight as me, but there was no room on the first flight from Tel Aviv to Abu Dhabi. So the plan was for him to fly alone with the Etihad crew, meet me in Abu Dhabi, and then we'd board the flight to Toronto together. But I accidentally signed the paperwork saying I would pick him up in Toronto. Let's see if they'll let me take him here in Abu Dhabi instead!
