Northern Ireland is introducing a new Graduated Driving Licence (GDL) scheme starting October 1, 2026, marking the biggest change to its driving laws in 70 years. To improve road safety for young drivers, learners must complete at least six months of training before taking their test, and the post-test restricted period is extended to 24 months. Newly qualified drivers under 24 will face night-time restrictions on carrying multiple young passengers between 11 PM and 6 AM for their first six months on the road. Additionally, the traditional 45 mph speed limit restriction for learner and novice drivers in Northern Ireland will finally be scrapped. *Ales Status* ⤵️ https://wa.me/447748745482?text=Hi%2C%20my%20name%20is%20 *Ales Group* ⤵️ https://chat.whatsapp.com/G3IWWQqU9rULqLRcMlrcNM?ml
