Conservatives are confronting a Labour-run council in London after an Islamic primary school was approved for state funding while making hijabs compulsory for girls aged seven and up. Tory MPs expressed deep concern that the policy does not state exemptions for non-Muslim pupils, warning it could discourage other families from applying and breach equality laws. Barnet Council explained that uniform rules are set by the school itself, adding that the requirement is legally compliant and not compulsory for non-Muslims. The school will become the borough’s first state-funded Muslim institution alongside dozens of existing Christian and Jewish faith schools. *Ales Status* ⤵️ https://wa.me/447748745482?text=Hi%2C%20my%20name%20is%20 *Ales Group* ⤵️ https://chat.whatsapp.com/G3IWWQqU9rULqLRc
