Russia has quietly withdrawn its ambassador to the UK, Andrei Kelin, who left his post on July 21 after serving in London since 2019. Moscow has pointedly chosen not to appoint a replacement, leaving the embassy to be managed by a lower-ranking chargé d'affaires. This move serves as a formal signal of Russia's displeasure over Britain's continued military support for Ukraine, including the use of British-made weapons inside Russian territory. While diplomatic ties have not been completely cut, the lack of a full ambassador marks a clear cooling of official relations between the two nations. Ales Status ⤵️ Ales Group ⤵️
