Debt should never be used to cover up problems in your business. Using loans or credit cards to make payroll, pay rent, or cover regular expenses may buy you more time, but it does not fix the problem. It only pushes the problem down the road while making it more expensive. Debt should support growth or help fund a real solution. It should not hide weak cash flow, low margins, or poor operations. Fix the business first. Then use debt to support the plan, not replace it.
