Starting today, drivers caught speeding through work zones on MTA bridges and tunnels will face automated fines. Violations will begin at $50, increasing to $75 for a second offense and $100 for additional violations within an 18-month period. The program covers MTA crossings including the Verrazzano-Narrows, RFK, Whitestone and Throgs Neck bridges.
