A new Siena College poll shows Gov. Kathy Hochul leading Republican challenger Bruce Blakeman 49% to 39% in the governor’s race, cutting her lead in half from a 20-point advantage in June. Hochul holds stronger numbers on affordability and housing, while Blakeman scored better on several personal traits, including being viewed as “in touch with average New Yorkers,” honest and able to get things done.
