A Budapest Yiddish paper, 21 Dec 1892, reports from Petrovoselo that "HaRav HaMufla R' Adoni' Schmelczer, moreh tzedek of this town" taught the balabatim every night after Maariv in the new beis medrash: mussar, Chumash-Rashi and Kitzur Shulchan Aruch.
