*More than 50 years of unwavering dedication. One heartbreaking dismissal. Four years of silence.* Last week, Telshe Yeshiva sent Rabbi Ari Wolf a letter acknowledging that the way his termination was handled was wrong. In the letter, they apologized for the pain it caused him, his family, and his community, and asked for his mechilah. Rabbi Ari Wolf devoted more than half a century of his life to Telshe, not simply as an employee, but as someone who helped build, maintain, and sustain the yeshiva with extraordinary mesiras nefesh. Fifty years of loyalty deserved honor, not heartbreak. While the past cannot be rewritten, the truth has finally been put into writing. Some wounds take years to acknowledge. Some apologies take years to write. May this serve as a reminder that those who dedicate their lives to building our mosdos deserve dignity, gratitude, and respect while they are serving, not only years later. May this be a step toward אמת, שלום, and healing for everyone involved.
