Many business owners confuse their salary with business profit. They're two different things.
Your salary is what you earn for working in the business. If you had to hire someone to do your job, and it would cost $150,000 a year, that's what your work is worth.
Your real business profit is what's left after accounting for that salary and all other expenses. Otherwise, you might think your business is making money when you're really just paying yourself for your work.
