Efrayim Goldstein — video status

*Watch:* Conservative councillor Simche Steinberger strongly condemned the move to end Hackney's twinning agreement during the council meeting last night, telling the chamber: “To be quite frank, the only winner of all of this is going to be Haifa." “To be honest, if I was Haifa, I'd be ashamed to twin with Hackney in such a current situation. It's a disgrace, and it's not asked for.” Hackney is home to Stamford Hill, Europe's largest Charedi Jewish community, with generations of synagogues, schools, charities and businesses deeply rooted in the borough, making the council's decision to target its historic relationship with an Israeli city all the more striking. *CONNECT UK°* https://chat.whatsapp.com/CkcmOyR7bx4EftjltWLFvu
