US: One person has died and four others have been injured following an incident involving a rollercoaster at Six Flags Over Georgia, near Atlanta. Witnesses reported seeing a man thrown from the Goliath rollercoaster, which reaches speeds of 70mph and heights of 200ft. One passenger said he saw the man come out of his seat, while another witness claimed he struck the rollercoaster several times before falling. A separate witness reported seeing a seat restraint completely unlatched as the ride returned to the station. Other passengers were reportedly left stranded high above the ground for more than an hour before being evacuated.
