UK: Police are investigating after a man was seen wearing a T-shirt displaying an antisemitic slogan at a Sainsbury’s in Haringey, close to Stamford Hill. The shirt bore the words “Khaybar Khaybar ya Yahud”, which is part of a well-known Arabic chant referencing a seventh-century battle against Jews and is widely regarded as a threat against Jews. The Metropolitan Police said it has recorded the incident as a potential racially aggravated public order offence and is working to identify the man. No arrests have been made. Join EJN:
