UK: Data belonging to around 8.7 million customers has been stolen in a cyberattack targeting Manchester, Stansted and East Midlands airports. Manchester Airports Group (MAG) says the stolen information includes email addresses, phone numbers, vehicle registrations and postcodes linked to car park, lounge and Fast Track bookings and airport WiFi sign-ups. MAG said it “immediately contained the risk” and is working with specialist advisers and the relevant authorities. No banking or payment details were compromised, and airport operations have not been affected, MAG added.
