Argentina: Police say missing Israeli mother and daughter Mali and Liel Yahalomi have been found in Argentina, a week after they were last seen in Vienna. Footage released by police showed officers, including representatives from Israel and Interpol, boarding a bus in Argentina and identifying themselves to the pair. It remains unclear why the mother and daughter cut contact with their family or travelled to Argentina without telling anyone. Hebrew media quoted police sources as saying they had intended to disappear and “start a new life.” Reports also quoted police sources as saying the pair had planned to obtain fake passports with new identities, while denying claims they had left Israel because of debts.
