US: President Donald Trump has acknowledged that Vice President JD Vance was “largely” correct in blaming the war with Iran for the Republicans’ heavy defeat in Tuesday’s midterm elections. Speaking to reporters, Trump said the conflict had driven up petrol prices, contributing to the party’s losses. However, he insisted that the war had been worth it and that he would make the same decision again. “If I had it to do again, I’d have to do it again, because long term, it’s the only answer.
