Israel: Israel is marking three years since the Hamas-led October 7 terror attacks, in which around 1,200 people were killed and 251 were taken hostage. Commemorations began at 6:29am, the exact time the assault started three years ago, with survivors and bereaved families gathering at the Nova music festival site near Kibbutz Re’im, where 378 people were killed and 44 were taken hostage. Memorial events are taking place throughout the country, with the main ceremony organised by survivors and bereaved families due to take place tonight at Yarkon Park in Tel Aviv.
