UK: The Government is expected to publish a landmark report on antisemitism in English schools and colleges tomorrow, with findings reportedly showing that three in five Jewish students have experienced antisemitism. The Government is reportedly poised to accept all 27 recommendations of the independent review, led by Sir David Bell. Leaked details include recommendations for schools to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism, provide teacher training, strengthen Holocaust education and teach pupils about modern-day Judaism. The report also calls for stronger action against online antisemitism, clearer guidance on political impartiality and greater accountability for schools failing to tackle antisemitism.
