UK: A 24-year-old Royal Navy sailor accused of preparing to spy for Russia has appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court. Teddy Young, who specialised in warfare intelligence, allegedly retained sensitive UK defence and intelligence material and made preparations to disclose it to a foreign power. The allegations reportedly include translating a message into Russian and searching for a web portal through which information could be submitted to Russia.
