Ukraine: President Volodymyr Zelensky says 600,000 people have been left without electricity following overnight Russian strikes on energy infrastructure in Kyiv and Kharkiv. He said Russia launched 39 ballistic missiles and more than 120 attack drones, deliberately targeting infrastructure covered by the energy ceasefire announced by US President Donald Trump. Zelensky accused Moscow of showing unprecedented disrespect towards the US, saying: “Russia has never before shown such ostentatious disrespect toward the United States.” He added that Russia “does not consider the American president’s statements strong”.
