Israel: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he has instructed his lawyers to sue Haaretz over its report claiming that UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed warned him of a planned Hamas attack ahead of October 7. Netanyahu again strongly denied receiving any such warning, calling the report a “sinister libel” and insisting there was no call between him and the Emirati president during the period in question. The UAE government has neither confirmed nor denied the report, saying it does not comment on “reports or speculations” regarding conversations between government leaders.
