Gaza: Hamas’s top financial official has been killed in an Israeli airstrike in Khan Younis, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz have announced. Mohammed Abu Alwan, head of Hamas’s financial department, was killed in a joint IDF and Shin Bet operation in the southern Gaza Strip. “We continue to pursue Hamas commanders and operatives, strike its sources of funding, and destroy its terror infrastructure. We will not allow Hamas to rebuild its strength, and we will not stop until there is no Hamas in Gaza,” Netanyahu and Katz said.
