UK: The Metropolitan Police says it is assessing allegations that Reform UK may have breached political party funding laws, following an undercover investigation by Channel 4 News and Verbatim. The force said it was aware of reports involving political party donations and an alleged breach of electoral law relating to polling, adding: “We will assess this matter and any information provided to us.” Reform UK denies any wrongdoing, saying it was the target of a “hoax perpetuated by foreign-funded, climate change activists posing as would-be party donors”.
