Israel: The remains of IDF soldier Yehuda Katz have been returned to Israel, 44 years after he went missing during the Battle of Sultan Yacoub in the First Lebanon War. Katz was the last soldier from the 1982 battle still listed as missing. His remains were recovered following years of intelligence and operational efforts and have now been identified, the IDF says. The remains of the other two soldiers who remained missing from the battle for decades, Zachary Baumel and Zvi Feldman, were recovered in 2019 and 2025 respectively.
