US: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has addressed the UN General Assembly, where supporters in the gallery gave him a standing ovation and chanted “Am Yisrael Chai”, while representatives from a number of countries staged a walkout. Netanyahu invited any remaining “moral cowards” to leave the hall, before turning to Iran and its nuclear programme. “Devastating Iran’s nuclear facilities was hard,” Netanyahu said. “But for me it was one of the easiest decisions I’ve had to make as prime minister.
