UK: A 19-year-old Norwegian man has been jailed for 20 years for plotting a £21,500 contract killing in Britain on behalf of the Iran-linked Foxtrot criminal network. Johannes Natland was initially refused entry to Britain at Manchester Airport after arriving with just £40, no booked accommodation and no return ticket. He was temporarily allowed into the country pending a flight home, but instead travelled to Huddersfield, where his handlers directed him to collect £2,000 hidden beneath a bridge, followed by two firearms and ammunition concealed in woodland. British counter-terrorism police, working with Norwegian authorities, tracked him to a hotel and arrested him just hours before the planned killing, discovering the weapons beneath his bed. The intended victim remains unidentified. The Foxtrot Network has previously been linked to attacks against Jewish and Israeli targets in Europe on behalf of Iran.
