Ukraine: A British man has become the first known UK national to be killed while fighting for Russia in its war against Ukraine. Bradley Townsend, 33, a fisherman from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, joined the Russian military in April and was reportedly killed by a Ukrainian drone near Lyman in the Donetsk region in June.
