UK: The man suspected of being the notorious “Putney Pusher” has been found dead at his west London home, nine years after a woman was pushed into the path of a bus on Putney Bridge. Banker Nicholas Brandram, 44, was arrested in June on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm in connection with the 2017 incident, but had not been charged and was released under investigation last week. The Metropolitan Police said Brandram was found unresponsive at his home in Chiswick on Tuesday evening. His death is being treated as “unexpected” but is not believed to be suspicious, the Met added.
