Middle East: US forces have reportedly struck Iranian rocket launchers on Larak Island in the Strait of Hormuz, in the first US military action against Iran in around a month. A US official said Revolutionary Guard forces were observed preparing to launch rockets carrying sea mines towards the strait. The US military said last week it had completed clearing sea mines from the international shipping routes through the waterway.
