Israel: Several Charedi protesters have been injured, some suffering head wounds, during violent clashes with police near Bnei Brak this evening. Police used stun grenades and force to disperse demonstrators blocking Highway 4 in protest against the arrest of a yeshiva student for failing to report for military service. At least four protesters were reportedly taken to hospital, while a police spokeswoman said three officers were injured during the clashes. The clashes have prompted accusations of excessive police violence, with footage showing injured protesters bleeding from their heads.
