UK: Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband has said the UK must “act more decisively” over Gaza after hearing what he described as “horrific” accounts of medicines being blocked from entering and children dying while waiting for life-saving treatment. Israel’s Foreign Ministry strongly rejected the claims, saying there are “no restrictions whatsoever” on medicines entering Gaza and accusing Miliband of prioritising “stories” over facts. US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee also hit out at Miliband’s remarks, saying: “The Brits have lost it.
