UK: Reform UK has announced plans to suspend Britain’s asylum system entirely for five years if it wins the next general election. Under the proposals, all new asylum applications would be rejected, existing claims cancelled and asylum seekers marked for deportation. Legal refugee routes and resettlement schemes would also be scrapped.
