Ukraine and Russia struck each other’s energy-related targets just hours after US President Donald Trump claimed both sides had agreed to halt such attacks. Zelensky said that Ukrainian forces struck Russia’s Syzran oil refinery overnight, while Moscow said it targeted Ukraine’s energy and transport infrastructure. Russian drones also hit two gas stations in Kyiv. Kyiv has not confirmed that a final energy ceasefire was reached. Zelensky said Ukraine would halt strikes on Russian energy targets only if Moscow reciprocates and partners guarantee the arrangement.
