Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman released a statement Wednesday following his defeat to Governor Kathy Hochul, thanking New Yorkers who supported his campaign. Blakeman said that while the election did not bring the outcome he had hoped for, he remains incredibly grateful to everyone who stood with him, adding that he is proud of what his campaign accomplished and that his commitment to New York will never change.
