A former FBI agent has been arrested and charged in connection with a hit-and-run that occurred on February 3, 2025, at the intersection of Ocean Parkway and Beverly Road, where he allegedly drove the wrong way, ran a red light, and struck a pedestrian, leaving him seriously injured. Federal prosecutors say 30-year-old Andrew Reyes was driving a government vehicle with emergency lights activated. After the collision, he allegedly moved the unconscious victim and his belongings onto a nearby bench before fleeing the scene. Reyes is also accused of lying to investigators in an attempt to cover up the incident.
