A 41-year-old New York City Sanitation Department truck driver has been arrested following an October 28 MVA that killed a 30-year-old pedestrian at Cropsey Avenue and Bay Parkway in Bensonhurst. Police say Timothy McVey was turning onto Bay Parkway when his truck fatally struck Siobhan Lynch as she crossed the street. McVey surrendered to police Wednesday and was charged with failure to yield and failure to exercise due care. The incident remains under investigation.
