S&P Global Ratings has raised its long-term rating on Miami Beach's resort tax revenue bonds to AA from AA-, citing consistently strong coverage levels for the debt. The rating agency also assigned an AA rating to the city's $141.6 million series 2026 resort tax revenue refunding bonds. S&P said the outlook is stable and expects the city to maintain very high coverage levels on the bonds. The rating upgrade reflects what S&P described as "extraordinarily high" coverage ratios for the pledged resort tax revenues. The agency said those strong levels help offset environmental risks that could affect the revenue stream. --- 📲 For fast & reliable hyper-local Jewish Florida news: 🗞️ JOIN The Florida Scoop on WhatsApp: https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=17868092003&text=Subscribe
