*⚽️ Messi Scores Four As Inter Miami Thrashes Montreal 7-1* Lionel Messi put on a show Saturday night at Nu Stadium. The 39-year-old scored four goals and added an assist as Inter Miami rolled past CF Montreal 7-1, snapping a five-game winless streak and setting a club record for goals in a single match. Casemiro opened the scoring in the 20th minute. Montreal tied it at 1-1 through Fabian Herbers. Then Messi took over. He restored the lead before halftime, added a second after weaving through three defenders, set up Luis Suárez, completed a hat trick in the 83rd minute, and finished the night with a stoppage-time free kick. Eighteen-year-old Alexander Shaw also scored his first MLS goal. Messi now leads the league with 18 goals. It was his first four-goal game in MLS, and his first since February 2020 with Barcelona. *Florida Scoop’s Take:* South Florida got the reminder everyone already knew. When Messi is on, the whole stadium feels it.
