Palm Beach Couple Gives $3 Million To Hebrew University A Palm Beach couple just donated $3 million to help students succeed at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Stacy Mandel and Keith Palagye, through their foundation, are funding a new academic skills center on the Mount Scopus campus. The center will support underrepresented students, including first-generation, Arab, Ethiopian, ultra-Orthodox, and those from economically disadvantaged or peripheral communities. It will offer one-on-one guidance, workshops on research and writing skills, and group programs to build both academic tools and campus connections. University leaders say the goal is simple: make sure talented students from all backgrounds don’t fall behind once they arrive. Construction is already underway.
