Florida Scoop — video status

— Miami Beach police officers lifted an SUV to free a woman who was pinned underneath the vehicle following a crash in North Beach, the department said Thursday as it released body-camera video of the rescue. Officers with the Miami Beach Police Department rushed to the scene and worked together to lift the vehicle and pull the woman to safety. The woman was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s trauma center with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said. The department credited the officers’ quick response with helping save her life. “When seconds matter, MBPD answers the call,” the department said in a post accompanying the body-camera footage.
