Josh Brodie Back At Ner Israel During Elul Josh Brodie was back at Yeshivas Ner Yisroel this week. He’s returned many times over the years. This visit felt different. Davening Shacharis in the Yeshiva. Sitting in Rabbi Yissocher Frand’s shiur in the same room where he spent years learning. Realizing the young man next to him was about 30 years younger. Maybe it was Elul. Maybe it was coming back after making aliyah. Sitting there again with his Rebbi brought back a lot of memories. Thirty years later, so much has changed. And somehow, sitting there, so much felt exactly the same. Brodie was very grateful for this moment.
