*Stephen A. Smith Says He’d Consider Voting For Rubio In 2028* ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith told Politico’s Dasha Burns he would consider voting for Marco Rubio in 2028, depending on who Democrats put up. Smith said Rubio would be a stronger candidate than Vice President JD Vance. His reason was blunt. Vance is “an individual that tries to be too like Trump.” Smith called Rubio “an authentic individual” and said that authenticity is what he wants to see from candidates. Smith also ruled out running himself. He said the minute he announced, he would be taken off the air. *Florida Scoop’s Take:* Rubio remains the Florida name national media keeps circling for 2028. Smith is not a Republican, which is why this clip is already traveling.
