Florida's Democratic Senate nominee Angie Nixon backed abolishing the Electoral College, embracing ranked-choice voting, and allowing same-day voter registration in resurfaced clips that Republicans are now using against her and her general election campaign. Nixon, a Democratic Socialists of America member who stunned the party establishment by defeating Alexander Vindman last week, also repeatedly called Gov. DeSantis a "fascist" and "dictator" while accusing Florida courts of protecting his allies. She now faces Republican Sen. Ashley Moody in November's special election.
