*Joe Strada Leads Close Race In Florida District 11 GOP Primary* Joe Strada holds a slim lead in the Republican primary for Florida’s 11th Congressional District. With about 98% of expected votes counted, Strada has 33.5% to Carey Baker’s 33.0%. Tim Wilkins sits at 25.5%. The gap is roughly 400 votes, with about 1,500 still outstanding. District 11 covers parts of Orange County (including the Orlando area), Lake County, and all of Sumter County. Strada, a Central Florida businessman, was endorsed by local rabbis and Jewish community leaders in Orlando.
