Miami’s luxury housing market is holding up better than the broader residential market, with affluent buyers continuing to purchase high-end properties despite elevated mortgage rates and home prices, according to a new Associated Press report Wednesday. The trend is part of a nationwide divide in the housing market, as wealthier buyers — many able to pay cash or make large down payments — remain active while middle-income buyers struggle with affordability. The AP, citing Redfin data, reported that luxury home sales have outperformed or declined less than middle-market sales in 44% of the nation’s 50 largest metropolitan areas. Miami is among the major markets seeing stronger activity at the upper end, alongside San Diego, Tampa, Nashville and Detroit. --- 📲 For fast & reliable hyper-local Jewish Florida news: 🗞️ JOIN The Florida Scoop on WhatsApp: https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=17868092003&text=Subscribe
