Ashley Moody says her experience as a mom, wife of a law enforcement officer, and mother of a service member will shape how she approaches key issues in the Senate. She plans to focus on supporting veterans, protecting children from online threats, and pushing accountability through congressional hearings. “I served on the Armed Services Committee and you’re darn straight I will support the men and women in the Armed Forces,” Moody said. She added that whether she’s working on education or judiciary issues involving law enforcement, “you better believe I’m not just showing up as a senator, I’m showing up as a mom.”
