*Mayor Meiner Circles Miami Beach From Cleanup To Final Roll Call* Miami Beach Mayor Steven Meiner has been all over the city this week, showing up at shoreline cleanups, school openings, synagogue events, business gatherings, and a police memorial. The stops included a Miami Beach Together beach cleanup, the grand opening at Lehrman Community Day School on 77th Street, a Pidyon Haben at Temple Moses with Rabbi Hadar, and meetings with leadership at Temple Beth Sholom. He also attended the Miami Beach Chamber’s Woman of the Year event, the Miami Business Club at Padel X, JCC Milk & Honey 2026, and an EndJewHatred rally with other South Florida mayors after the antisemitic attack in Surfside. The week closed with a final roll call for Miami Beach Police Detective Tony Callan. *Florida Scoop’s Take:* This is the kind of local week people actually live. Sand, school, shul, small business, and a department saying goodbye to one of its own.
