*Community Turnout: Residents Stand Behind Yeshiva Ketana of Staten Island* More than 100 community members attended last night’s town hall meeting at the Hilton Garden Inn as neighbors raised objections to Yeshiva Ketana of Staten Island’s planned new building. Parents spoke about the school’s importance to their families and the neighborhood. According to organizers, construction was ready to begin but was delayed by an audit following neighbors’ complaints. The main concerns raised at the meeting involved school bus drivers; organizers noted that the school receives city-provided busing. Organizers described the meeting as productive and hope construction can begin within two weeks, once the outstanding issues are resolved. *_Join the Island Media WhatsApp Status_* https://wa.me/19297271071?text=Subscribe *_Join the Island News and Updates group_* https://chat.whatsapp.com/Bi5MGP3Nx1qJUoVkKmYW5j
