*Road Safety: Another Collision at New Dorp Intersection* A BMW SUV struck a utility pole near Richmond and Todt Hill roads around 10 p.m. last night, snapping the pole in half. Police cordoned off Todt Hill Road as emergency crews responded amid concerns that wires could fall. The NYPD said preliminary information indicated no apparent injuries. It was the second crash at the intersection in four days. A separate collision late Saturday night sent six people to local hospitals.
